Art Club is for everyone

Welcome to my new art class tailored for beginners,

These sessions invite you to loosen your grip on perfection and rediscover the joy of mark-making. No pressure to “get it right”, it’s all about showing up, experimenting and discovering your unique style. Whether you’re revisiting old skills or trying something completely new, this is your chance to build confidence while having fun.

Dang Phuong Minh Cao

“A nice cozy venue, relaxing activity, detailed instructions! Fully equipped and high quality materials - rekindles my interest in watercolour."

Tom Hamilton

"Ru is a great teacher. She gives you a quick tutorial then constant guidance throughout the class. The sessions are suitable for all skill levels even first timers. I highly recommend these classes for fun with friends and family or just for a fun activity and way to meet new people."

Emily Brown

“A wonderful evening learning to paint Christmas Beetles in watercolours. With a glass of wine from the shop downstairs and some great tunes, I couldn't recommend a more relaxing and creative evening.”

Class Topics

Each workshop focuses on a colourful, curious subject and builds confidence in one technique.

We explore nature-inspired subjects that go a little beyond the usual. Think rare orchids rather than generic florals, iridescent beetles instead of everyday insects, and richly coloured fish, butterflies, botanicals and more.

Each workshop, you’ll explore techniques like wet-on-wet blending, dry brush texture, layering, gradients, and lifting to create your own vibrant mini artworks. Click on each class image to learn more.
