A letter from the artist

A lover of botanicals, imagination, and the slow life, I founded the label Biini with the belief that a beautiful home and time in nature can transform your life. I create hand illustrated prints and textiles and love to be surrounded by nature throughout the day. I hope that my art will be a companion that helps you feel calm, connected and vibrant throughout the day.

My work is grounded in colour, connection to place and curiosity. Beginning with watercolour and more recently branching into acrylics and digital I draw inspiration from traditional techniques and modern design to bring a freshness and lightness to my creations.

Pre-orders

I’ve recently shifted away from printing in bulk to avoid over-ordering. You can now PRE-ORDER everything from the website and receive it within 1-3 weeks.

Every effort has been made to manufacture as close to the artist's home- Inner West of Sydney - as possible. As a result Biini is moving towards pre-orders as a mindful way to make sure I only make what is necessary.

Art Prints

Made in Marrickville. Printed on 308gsm Hahnemuhle Photo Cotton Rag stock. Cotton rag stocks are made from leftovers from other manufacturing.

Gift tags

Hand made by the artist on 270gsm Canson watercolour paper. Repurposed from original paintings and experiments that didn’t make the cut but deserve a second life.

Tote Bags

Made in Australia. All pre-orders placed for Christmas will be printed and sewn right here in Marrickville.
